West Virginia Governor Jim Justice declared that all public schools in the state will close at the end of the day today, Friday, March 13, and will remain closed indefinitely.
While Saint Joseph School is not a public school, we are following Justice’s edict and also will close at the end of today for all students (pre-kindergarten through eighth grade). We will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
Teachers will send home all necessary school materials with children. Staff will stay until 5 p.m. today, and the office will be open between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday for any parent wishing to pick up schoolwork for those who are absent today.
We will utilize online instruction to the best of our abilities.
I appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
