The administrative assistant will be the first point of contact at the school for students in grades kindergarten to six. This exciting opportunity is the perfect match for someone energetic who is looking to improve his/her current skills in communications, technology and much more.

Job Type: Salary
Salary: $35,000 to $42,000
Essential responsibilities:
- Providing front-desk reception services and administrative services, including office management, answering phones, speaking with clients, assisting administrators and other employees, clerical work (including maintaining records and entering data), and a variety of other tasks
- Completing special projects assigned by the administration
- Answering and generating communications concerning the school
- Providing information concerning school policies, procedures, actions, activities and schedules as appropriate; and maintaining the school calendar
- Managing all purchases, including generating purchase orders
Requirements:
- Experience with Microsoft, Google, other software
- Highly organized and able to handle many tasks at once
- Experience with customer service
Work schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with 30 minutes for lunch

SJS is seeking a great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills for the role of a middle-high school theology teacher. The classroom teacher will have solid classroom management skills, be responsible for developing learning activities and hands-on material, tending to individual student needs and communicating regularly with parents.
Reports to: Principal
Job Type: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $42,000 to 54,000 per year
Essential Responsibilities:
- Developing religion standards and applying those set by the diocese
- Planning daily lessons and activities to meet those standards
- Supporting and managing campus ministerial duties and activities
- Adopting a data-driven attitude toward measuring learner progress
- Attending to individual student needs
- Demonstrating an awareness of different student backgrounds and cultures
- Communicating regularly with parents
- Providing extra support to students who need it
- Monitoring student growth to identify strengths and areas for improvement
- Using learner data to constantly refine curriculum
- Providing regular feedback to students
Theology Requirements:
- Practicing Catholic
- Bachelor’s degree or masters (preferred) in education or relevant field
- State teaching license in the relevant field or qualified to obtain it
- Knowledge of teaching best practices
- Empathy and great interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with basic computer software such as Word and Excel
- Experience working with children and adolescents. Previous experience as a middle-high school teacher is advantageous.
- Good classroom management skills
- Good teamwork abilities

Saint Joseph School is seeking substitute teachers and aides for toddlers through ninth grade.
Substitute teachers for toddlers through prekindergarten classes must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or GED and CPR/first aid training. Substitute aides for toddlers through prekindergarten classes must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
Substitutes in grades K-9 must have a bachelor’s degree.
Experience working with children is a must. A background in education is preferred.
The pay is $13.39 per hour.
