Most of our ninth-graders spent Friday assisting Little Sisters of the Poor – United States at their Jeanne Jugan Residence in Washington, D.C.
The students, teacher Kaitlyn Price, guidance counselor Kathleen Crook and some SJS parents worked in a garden, moved furniture and organized the gift shop before going to Mass and eating lunch with some of the residents.
Three children kneel on the grass near a building, pulling weeds or gardening in a green, leafy area with bushes and a brick wall in the background.
