Genesis, the show choir at Saint Joseph School, was named the grand champion at The American Classic show choir competition hosted March 13 and 14 by Martinsburg High School’s Good Times Show Choir at Jefferson High School in Shenandoah Junction.
The group was also honored and humbled for the following awards:
- Best vocals
- Best choreography
- Best female soloist: Charlotte Carter
- Best male soloists: Thomas Hilton and Gael Araujo-Ramirez
- Outstanding performer: Melani Haney
- Best costumes
- People’s choice
