Dear Members of the Saint Joseph School Family,
I write to you with great joy in this new year. After searching for a new principal for over six months, we have found our new team leader. Patrick Blanc will take over as the new principal of St. Joseph School on July 1, 2019. Pat will be coming to us after spending 42 years in education in Jefferson County.
During Pat’s time in Jefferson Country, Pat fulfilled roles as a special education teacher, head teacher, IEP coordinator, principal, director of pupil services and most recently as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction. Pat has also served on our St. Joseph School Board for a number of years.
Pat is a life long Catholic, married to Linda, and a proud father and grandfather. In addition to his education experience in the Jefferson Country Schools, Pat has been a long time Catechist at St. James Catholic Church in Charles Town, WV. You may see Pat running with our cross-country team as Pat continues to run and pray before or after work to keep a calm cool demeanor.
He is looking forward to meeting our staff and students. He is very excited to be able to share his love of Christ, education and students with our St. Joseph Community.
