Six of our eighth grade students won the prestigious Golden Horseshoe award. This is the oldest statewide competition in West Virginia and tests students knowledge on West Virginia history. Only ten students from the entire county can win this award and our class of 24 eighth graders won 60% of them! This news report went statewide and aired 5/13/21. Local WDVM News Story.
