Bishop Evelio Menjívar, leader of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, celebrated Fiesta Del Divino Salvador Del Mundo (the Feast of the Divine Savior of the World) on Aug. 9 at St. James the Greater Catholic Church in Charles Town.
The feast day falls annually on Aug. 6 and honors Jesus Christ, the patron and namesake of El Salvador (“The Savior”).
