St. Joe’s to take part in Seamless Summer Option through USDA

Beginning Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, Saint Joseph School will be participating in the extension of the Seamless Summer Option offered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service. All SJS students, including virtual attendees, are entitled to daily free lunches prepared by our cafeteria staff. This benefit will extend through the remainder of the school year!

Families no longer will be billed for lunches or milk via FACTS SIS. However, the program is not retroactive. All lunch and milk bills issued prior to Sept. 24, 2020, still need to be paid.

The families of virtual students who would like to participate must make arrangements to pick up lunches.

SJS is thrilled to be able to offer this benefit to our families! Hot lunches are prepared daily by our cafeteria staff. Salads also are offered daily as an alternative to the hot lunch menu items. Typically, lunches are billed at a rate of $3, which includes milk.

If you have any questions regarding this benefit, please email Cafeteria Manager Suzi Crowder at scrowder@sjswv.org or call the office at 304-267-6447.
