Kindergarten through Eighth Grade Tuition


The deadline to submit Parish Verification forms is September 30th of each year.

Additional fees which may be incurred:

  • Before care and/or after care
  • Hot lunch or salad
  • Co-curricular activities and courses as offered

Frequently Asked Questions

The application fee is $20.

After you submit your application, you will receive an email with instructions on how to fill out the enrollment packet.

You will need your child’s birth certificate and up-to-date immunization records. Families of pre-kindergarten students must provide records from the most recent well-child visit. They can be scanned or photographed and uploaded.

The enrollment fee is $150.

You should have checkmarks next to every section of the enrollment packet. Be sure to review the packet and pay the $150 enrollment fee. Your child is not enrolled until that step is completed.

We will notify you as soon as a spot opens for your child.

Admission Policy

The following policies have been adopted to clearly articulate how enrollment decisions will be determined. If the application is received by the deadline and student meets the school’s admissions criteria, student will be further considered for enrollment.  Students will be selected and placed in the school based on the maximum capacity of classrooms as set by the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston according to the following categories in order:

  1. Currently enrolled students in good standing.
  2. Siblings of students currently enrolled.
  3. Students currently enrolled and in good standing at another school in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.
  4. Catholic children of participating parishioners who are siblings or children of a graduate of the School.
  5. Children of parishioners who are registered, contributing and participating members of the School Parish (or if a central school, one of the participating parishes).*
  6. Children of parishioners who are registered, contributing, and participating members at another Catholic parish within the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.*
  7. Non-Catholic students (Non-Catholic students will be enrolled or added to a waiting list in the order of applications received).

* Families can obtain a form from their parish that is to be signed by the pastor and submitted to the school  at application.

Wait List

  • Students not selected for admission due to class size limits, will automatically be placed on a wait list.
  • If an opening becomes available, students on the wait list will be given priority for those openings in the same order of preference as detailed in the Admission Eligibility protocols.
  • The wait list will exist for the current academic year only.
  • The wait list will be established after the enrollment process for the upcoming school year has ended and will terminate when that school year ends.

Tuition Assistance

Tuition assistance is available for families enrolled in our school, regardless of religious affiliation. To be considered, complete the online application at, click on “Grant & Aid Assessment”. There is a cost of $17.50 for submitting a TAP application.

Tuition Payment Schedules

All families are enrolled in the FACTS Tuition Management program as per Diocesan Policy. Saint Joseph School offers three ways to make tuition payments. Families may sign up for online and/or automatic payments on FACTS through Family Portal.

  • Single payment due by July 15 (receives a 5% discount). *
  • Two payments due August 3 and January 4. There is a $10.00 annual fee assessed by FACTS.*
  • 12 Monthly payments withdrawn between the 5thand the 25th of the month beginning in July. There is a $40.00 annual fee assessed by FACTS.*
  • 10 Monthly payments withdrawn between the 5th and the 25th of the month beginning in August. There is a $40.00 annual fee assessed by FACTS.

Enrollment Schedule and Application

Enrollment for new families will begin on February 18th. Class sizes are limited and space is reserved with a completed admissions application and $20 application fee. You may create an account prior to the beginning of enrollment to start the process.
