We are seeking two enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as lead summer camp pre-K teachers. As a lead teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and engaging environment in which children can learn and have fun. Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times

Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games and crafts

Assist with the implementation of daily schedules and routines

Provide guidance and support to campers in their social interactions

Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all campers

Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team

Communicate effectively with campers, parents and fellow staff members
Requirements

At least two years of experience working with children in a regulated child care setting, classroom or similar environment

Knowledge of childhood development and early intervention techniques
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs

Patience, empathy and the ability to connect with children

Basic math skills for activity planning and supervision

Knowledge of child welfare and special education is a plus

CPR and first aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Willingness to support the school mission statement

Willingness to meet state qualifications for early child care educators
The salary is $13 to $15 per hour. The shift is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 45-minute break.
