Monsignor Lackey Council 1169 of the Knights of Columbus in Martinsburg invited SJS to again participate in the Baby Bottle Boomerang, a fundraiser for the AbbaCare Pregnancy Resource Center, a life-affirming pregnancy resource center that has been serving women and families facing unplanned pregnancy in the region for more than 30 years. It has an office in Martinsburg.
For the month of January, we are asking our SJS families to send in cash donations to be placed in plastic baby bottles in each classroom. At the end of the month, we will write a check for the amount collected and present it to the local Knights.
