Saint Joseph School eighth-grader Freyja Dreflak, right, won gold and seventh-grader Ava Kithcart, left, won silver on April 14 at the West Virginia State Social Studies Fair at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
Dreflak won in the geography category with her project titled “Ancient Walls of the World,” while Kithcart placed in world history with “The Life and Legacy of Queen Elizabeth II.”
